Link Editor
Learn how to add or edit your link
On the Link Editor page, you can add or edit your links. Links are essential for your AI customer service page, as they help provide context and information to your customers. Your customers can view these links when they interact with your AI customer service page, allowing them to make informed decisions and they can see your links via chat Catalog on top right of the chat page or in the chat content when it sets as initial content.
Entrypoint
The entrypoints to the Link Editor page are from the Links page in your Team Dashboard. You can find the Links page from several entrypoints:
- From Page Configuration page:
- When you are in the Team Dashboard homepage
- Click "Action" button of the page you want to manage
- Click on Configuration tab
- Then click on the Manage Links button
- From the Links page:
- When you are in the Team Dashboard homepage
- Click on the Links page in the left sidebar. If you are in mobile view, click on the top hamburger button to show menu items and click on Links
Adding a New Link
- Make sure you are in the Links page then click on the Add Link button
- When you open Links page from "Page Configuration" page it will automatically open the Link Editor page
- When you open Links page from the left sidebar / menu items it will show dialog to select the page you want to add a link to, just click the drop down "Select a page" then click "Select" button
- In the Link Editor page, fill in the required information to create a new link:
- Title: The name of your link, it will be displayed to your customers on your AI customer service page
- Description: A brief description of your link, it will be displayed to your customers on your AI customer service page and works as your link's knowledge base
- Link URL: The URL of your link, you can use a link from your e-commerce platform, or even have your affiliate link here, it will be used to access your link page when user clicks on the link in your AI customer service page
- Update Link button: Click this button to create your new link
- After you click the Update Link button, system will automatically add the link knowledge into your AI customer service page's knowledge base
- After the link is created, it will be refreshed and you can fully manage your link
Editing a Link
- If you already in the Link Editor page and editing selected link, you can skip step number 2 and 3
- Makesure you are in the Links page and already filtered links by page
- When you open Links page from "Page Configuration" page it will automatically filtered out the page
- When you open Links page from the left sidebar / menu items, the best practice is require you to filter links by page first
- Choose link then click on the Action button on the very right of the link item
- In the Link Editor page, Update to Knowledge Base page selector will shows up when you not filter links by page on links page before clicking "Action", otherwise it will hidden and automatically update to selected page
- Select a page to update the link knowledge base to that page
- If you are in the Link Editor page from "Page Configuration" page, it will automatically update to that page
- Fill in the required information to update a link detail:
- Title: The name of your link, it will be displayed to your customers on your AI customer service page
- Description: A brief description of your link, it will be displayed to your customers on your AI customer service page and works as your link's knowledge base
- Link URL: The URL of your link, you can use a link from your e-commerce platform, or even have your affiliate link here, it will be used to access your link page when users click on the link in your AI customer service page
- Update Link button: Click this button to update your link
- After you click the Update Link button, system will update your link catalog and automatically update the link knowledge into your AI customer service page's knowledge base
